My passion as a photographer is rooted in my ability to reveal and transform. Although I certainly enjoy shooting obviously beautiful persons, places, and things, the images that excite me the most begin life as photographs of humdrum, overlooked, unsettling, or unlovely things. I have a vision in my mind’s eye of what they could become. My objective for the final image lies in the realm of unexpected beauty, a compelling unusualness, or a sense of mystery.
