I have always worked with wood, picking up skills along the way and later studying at RIT. I worked as a lawyer and judge for many years. My sculpture gives form to my concerns about social and environmental justice, presenting them visually. Using a vocabulary of simple house forms, birds, boats, flowers, the character of the wood chosen and engraved text, I strive to engage viewers in a discussion of a world that is often unfair yet beautiful.
