Elisa graduated from RIT's masters program in 1974. Wile working full time, she continued artful activities through the years until she became a full time artist in 2000.
"I love working in clay. I love painting. I love putting unrelated things together and making them work as one." In other words, any artful energy is vital to her joy of life.
In clay, she believes her strongest works are hand-built large pots and sculpture, although she continues to throw and make functional pieces ...but by her own evaluation, she is an artful potter and not an artisan.
Her paintings are large oil on canvas works. She admits "I don't know how to do small." Her style is loose and fluid. Her colors are bold and unabashed.
Elisa's clay work can be found at Craft Co. No.6, and Mostly Clay. Her paintings are with the online gallery "Artful Home".
Ideas are infinite, color is awesome, design describes feelings. Putting all these together is the most joyous thing.
